This bark pendant was hand sculpted and then cast in sterling silver. It is hand polished and finished with an antique patina.

The source for this pendant was a very large old Eucalypt - the biggest and most central tree in a small grove of gum trees - in our horse paddock. The bark had places where the texture was intricate and detailed and other patches where it was rough and gnarly. I captured both in my drawings and photos. It is the intricate, detailed texture that I’ve replicated here.
