Tree tribute

The land where my beloved horses live is incredibly beautiful. There’s a spectacular view out to the Brindabella mountains, which catches the light of the setting sun, and acres of native bush that is home to lots of native animals and birds. There are many incredible trees, but one in particular that looks old, gnarled and wise. I’ve wanted for such a long time to bring some of that steady wisdom home with me, so I sampled some bark - in situe, directly from the tree (causing no harm!) - and used my model to create a Eucalyptus bark pendant in recycled fine silver.

This piece speaks to my heart. I hope it speaks to yours too.
